I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007)

Cast: Adam Sandler (Chuck Levine), Kevin James (Larry Valentine), Jessica Biel (Alex McDonough), Dan Aykroyd (Captain Tucker)
For more information, see IMDb's I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry page.
I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry is far from Adam Sandler or Kevin James' best comedic work, but it's worth renting or watching on a movie channel on TV. I wouldn't go out of my way for it and it wasn't very high on my list, but when I saw that it was on HBO, I figured it was worth recording. Definitely an amusing premise, but I think they could have done a better job with the story.

Reign Over Me (2007)

Cast: Adam Sandler (Charlie Fineman), Don Cheadle (Alan Johnson), Jada Pinkett Smith (Janeane Johnson), Liv Tyler (Angela Oakhurst)
For complete list, see IMDb's Reign Over Me page.
I knew this movie about a man who lost his family in the September 11 attack would be a rough one to watch, but (fortunately) they didn't concentrate on 9/11 very much. In spite of the movie making me cry at the end, I think I cried more when watching the extra features, which discussed 9/11 more.
The cast of Reign Over Me is amazing. The story isn't quite as well done as I expected, but it's definitely a movie well worth renting.

Click (2006)

Cast: Adam Sandler (Michael Newman), Kate Beckinsale (Donna Newman), Christopher Walken (Morty), David Hasselhoff (Mr. Ammer)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's Click page.
The story behind Click was such an interesting idea that I was really looking forward to the movie. We didn't have time to see it in the theatre, but now that I've rented it, I'm glad. I would have been disappointed if I'd bothered to see Click in a theatre. It wasn't a bad movie, but it's definitely not great.
Click is worth renting, but I wouldn't rush to put it at the top of my Netflix list.

A very good movie about a family trying to hold their lives together and the wonderful housekeeper (and her daughter) who change their lives forever. Hard to describe too much without giving it away, but I definitely recommend renting it!

Cast: Adam Sandler (Henry Roth), Drew Barrymore (Lucy Whitmore)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's 50 First Dates page.
I'm a huge fan of Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler, so I was really looking forward to seeing them together in another movie. 50 First Dates was a cute romantic comedy. Definitely worth renting if you don't get to it in movie theaters.
Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler make a great pair. I didn't even mind that Rob Schneider (who I normally avoid at all costs) was in the movie.

Mr. Deeds (2002)

Cast: Adam Sandler (Longfellow Deeds), Winona Ryder (Babe Bennett/Pam Dawson), John Turturro (Emilio Lopez)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's Mr. Deeds page.
A sweet small-town guy inherits the controlling interest of a big company and takes over with a flourish. Deeds immediately starts to make a lot of changes when he realizes the power he has.
Not worth seeing in theatres, but I think it's worth renting. Cute movie about what your average, sweet, small-town guy would do if he all of a sudden became a wealthy man who's in charge of a large company.

This movie about a waterboy whose mother hates football finding out that he's got a talent for tackling and becoming a member of the team is very funny! The cast is amazing, the characters are ridiculous, and the story is very good. I definitely recommend that you check this out, even if you're not a huge Adam Sandler fan. I think you'll find it worth the time.

Cast: Adam Sandler (Robbie Hart), Drew Barrymore (Julia Sullivan), Christine Taylor (Holly Sullivan)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's The Wedding Singer page.
Such a cute romantic comedy. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore make a great pair in The Wedding Singer! I loved the 80's music for the soundtrack. So many memories... And then for Billy Idol to show up in a scene was too funny. Enjoy the flashbacks and the 80's memories this movie brings back for you and the sweet love story.
