The A-Team (2010)

Cast: Liam Neeson (Hannibal), Bradley Cooper (Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck), Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson (B.A. Baracus), Sharlto Copley (Murdock), Jessica Biel (Charisa Sosa)
For complete info, see IMDb's The A-Team page.
I was a big fan of the television show The A-Team, so I was pretty excited when they said they were making a movie out of it. I pictured all they could do with the budget of a blockbuster film and thought it could be a lot of fun to watch. The movie didn't disappoint me.
The special effects were well done, the story was decent, and the cast was wonderful. I definitely recommend seeing The A-Team in a theatre if you like movies with good special effects and enjoyed the television show. They did a very good job with the story and I hope they'll make another. I'd definitely be ready to see a sequel.

I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007)

Cast: Adam Sandler (Chuck Levine), Kevin James (Larry Valentine), Jessica Biel (Alex McDonough), Dan Aykroyd (Captain Tucker)
For more information, see IMDb's I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry page.
I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry is far from Adam Sandler or Kevin James' best comedic work, but it's worth renting or watching on a movie channel on TV. I wouldn't go out of my way for it and it wasn't very high on my list, but when I saw that it was on HBO, I figured it was worth recording. Definitely an amusing premise, but I think they could have done a better job with the story.

The Illusionist (2006)

Cast: Edward Norton (Eisenheim), Jessica Biel (Sophie), Rufus Sewell (Crown Prince Leopold), Paul Giamatti (Chief Inspector Uhl)
For complete information, see IMDb's The Illusionist page.
What a great movie. I wish I had made the time to see this movie in a theatre (as Avra told me to - I should have listened!). If you missed this in theatres also, I highly recommend it. By the time our theatre room is built, I'm sure we'll own this movie.
The Illusionist is a wonderful combination of mystery, romance, and special effects that comes together perfectly. The cast is amazing. The story is interesting and holds your attention until the very end of the movie. The special effects are very well done and the cinematography is gorgeous. If you or someone you know has a theatre room or very large LCD, watch The Illusionist there. It's worth watching this on the biggest screen you can. Perhaps they'll even re-release The Illusionist on the big screen before the Oscars if it's nominated for enough awards.

Cellular (2004)

Cast: Chris Evans (Ryan), Kim Basinger (Jessica), Jessica Biel (Chloe), William H. Macy (Mooney)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's Cellular page.
Cellular was a lot better than I expected. Had I known it would be this good, I might have bothered to see it when it was still in movie theaters. It's a very good thriller. Too bad the trailer made it look boring and old.

Blade: Trinity (2004)

Cast: Wesley Snipes (Blade), Kris Kristofferson (Abraham Whistler), Dominic Purcell (Drake), Jessica Biel (Abigail Whistler), Ryan Reynolds (Hannibal King)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's Blade: Trinity page.
I was pretty disappointed with the second Blade movie, so I didn't have high hopes for Blade: Trinity, but I had to see it, since the cast was great and I liked the first one so much - I had to see if they had re-captured the good combination they had in the first movie.
With the addition of Jessica Biel and Ryan Reynolds as Blade's extra side-kicks, I think they did the right thing in Blade: Trinity. The chemistry really worked and this was a fun movie.

Summer Catch (2001)

Cast: Freddie Prinze Jr. (Ryan Dunne), Jessica Biel (Tenley Parrish), Matthew Lillard (Billy Brubaker), Brian Dennehy (John Schiffner)
For complete info, see IMDb's Summer Catch page.
Baseball and romance - what more could one want in a late summer movie? The rich girl falling in love with the guy from the wrong side of the tracks... Family disapproval, stress of dealing with baseball tryouts, teenagers defying their parents... This movie has it all for those who love sports and romance.
I definitely recommend this movie. I love movies that combine sports and romance - these are often combined in real life and it makes it easier to enjoy the movie for those of us who love sports.
I would suggest renting this movie. It's a cute summer flick.
