I knew this movie about a man who lost his family in the September 11 attack would be a rough one to watch, but (fortunately) they didn't concentrate on 9/11 very much. In spite of the movie making me cry at the end, I think I cried more when watching the extra features, which discussed 9/11 more.
The cast of Reign Over Me is amazing. The story isn't quite as well done as I expected, but it's definitely a movie well worth renting.

This is a really cute movie! Such a wonderful and touching story, where the main love is between a father and his daughter. A great story about a man who has to change his life completely to take care of his daughter.
If you didn't see this in the movie theater (like me), it is definitely worth renting! Add it to your list if it's not already there. Jennifer Lopez is barely in it for all of you who sayed away for that reason.

A one-hit wonder from Pennsylvania finds a manager and tries to become the next biggest thing. This story written & directed by Tom Hanks is very good. It explores all the changes a band (and group of friends) face when they become an overnight sensation. That Thing You Do shows that Tom Hanks is very talented behind the camera (and before the cameras start rolling) as he is in front of the camera. The movie is fun, funny, touching, and just a great story.
