The Matrix Revolutions: The IMAX Experience (2003)

Cast: Keanu Reeves (Neo), Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus), Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's The Matrix Revolutions page.

I'm very glad we got to see this in IMAX. The special effects were even cooler when you felt like you were in the world of the Matrix.

Although I heard some bad things about The Matrix Revolutions, the third (and final) movie in the Matrix trilogy. I don't know if I liked it more because of seeing it in IMAX or if I enjoyed it more for other reasons, but I was happy with the ending of the trilogy.

The Matrix Reloaded: The IMAX Experience (2003)

Cast: Keanu Reeves (Neo), Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus), Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's The Matrix Reloaded page.

I'm very happy this movie was released in IMAX. It was like you were really a part of the Matrix! Although a couple people I know saw this and didn't like it ("because of the horrible cliff-hanging ending"), I was aware that this movie would have a cliff-hanger for an ending (which is why they're releasing the final movie of the trilogy later this year, and I thought The Matrix Reloaded was very well done.

Although I already own The Matrix on DVD, I'm looking forward to a big set with all three movies someday with tons of extra features. I think the whole story was very well done.

Memento (2001)

Cast: Guy Pearce (Leonard), Carrie-Anne Moss (Natalie), Joe Pantoliano (Teddy Gammell)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's Memento page.

I heard that Memento was great when it was in the theaters, but somehow I didn't get around to seeing it, till a friend ownded it and I saw it on DVD. What a mistake. I should have listened to those who saw it in theaters. This is an amazing movie!

With the main story going backwards and the clips of Leonard's client going forwards, this movie is mind-boggling the first time you see it. I'm glad I didn't buy it immediately, since I was able to get the collector's edition, which allows you to watch the whole movie in chronological order as one of the special features. That's really cool!

I can't recommend this amazing movie highly enough. I've never seen a movie that is so completely unique. Memento allows you to decide what to believe and what not to believe. It doesn't spell the entire story out for you or assume that you're not intelligent enough to figure it out for yourself and I LOVE that about this movie! It's one of my favorite movies of all time and probably always will be.

Rent this movie! See it now and watch the special features. It's well worth it!

The Matrix (1999)

Cast: Keanu Reeves (Neo), Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus), Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity), Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith), Gloria Foster (Oracle)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's The Matrix page.

Wow! I can't wait to see The Matrix again. I'm not normally someone who likes the Sci-Fi action movie, but The Matrix is definitely an outstanding Sci-Fi film that rises above the average and becomes an exception to the rule for me.

I can't wait to see the next movies. I will definitely watch the sequels and hope that they're as well done (and that the entire cast returns).
