I'm a fan of Steve Carell (except in The Office, for some reason) and Paul Rudd, so I was pretty sure I'd like Dinner for Schmucks. They didn't disappoint me. I laughed a lot and was entertained throughout the very silly movie. If you like comedies (especially those with Steve Carell & Paul Rudd), I highly recommend seeing Dinner for Schmucks. It doesn't need to be seen in a theatre, since there are no special effects and it'll lose nothing on the small screen, but at least add it to your rental list.

I'm a huge fan of Paul Rudd and really like Jason Segel on How I Met Your Mother, so I was sold on I Love You, Man as soon as I saw the cast. This hilarious movie did not disappoint me. If you like romantic comedies, this one is great. Nothing super special about it, though the idea of a guy trying to find men to be friends with and to be in his wedding is definitely a little different.
If you like romantic comedies and haven't seen this one yet, what are you waiting for? It's out on BD & DVD. Rent it now.

This movie is a light romantic comedy that's enjoyable to watch. The cast is really good and the story is amusing. If you want to see a high caliber film, you should probably avoid the romantic comedy genre as a general rule. So, assuming you're okay with a standard romantic comedy quality, Forgetting Sarah Marshall is worth adding to your rental list.
Paul Rudd plays a fairly small role, but I was happy to see him in the cast. He plays those extra characters in romantic comedies so well. I didn't realize Paul Rudd was in the movie, so it was a nice surprise to see him appear.

Don't let the cast fool you, this movie isn't really even worth renting. Parts of it were mildly amusing and I did laugh a few times, but it's a very long movie for something that entertains so little.

If a movie has Steve Carell or Paul Rudd in it, I'm there. The premise for this movie was so funny that I had to go. Fortunately, The 40 Year Old Virgin did not let us down. All the funny parts weren't in the preview. There are so many hilarious things that happen in this movie.
Definitely see this for a good laugh!

I'm glad we got to see this in a free preview, since it's always more fun to see a movie before you see too many previews for it. As big fans of almost everyone in this cast, we were excited about seeing Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. The fact that it was based in San Diego made it even more entertaining.
I highly recommend this movie. It's hilarious!

I saw The Shape of Things with the original Off-Broadway cast and loved it. When I heard they were making a movie out of it which was being done by the original cast, I was thrilled. I knew that with the original cast and Neil LaBute (the author and director) involved, they would do a good job with it.
Fortunately, I was right. I went to a movie theater without stadium seating for the first time in a long time, since The Shape of Things wasn't playing at any of the big theaters, but I had to see it now. I couldn't wait till it came out. I'm very happy that they did a great job taking the play to the big screen. I'm also happy that I'll be able to own a great play on DVD when I saw the same cast in the play live. That never happens.
I definitely recommend this movie (or the play) - they're both excellent!

The Shape of Things is a wonderful play by Neil LaBute that deals with changing yourself for a relationship and all the consequences of that. There is also an emphasis on art, which is very good.
I was amazed by the transformation in The Shape of Things and highly recommend this play to anyone who can get there. The cast is amazing and it was great to finally see them in a live performance. The Shape of Things is a very eye-opening play and definitely one of the best I've seen in years.
Note: The Shape of Things is now a movie, so rent it on DVD if you haven't seen the play. They did a great job using the original cast of the play for the movie and kept the integrity of the play by doing so.

This movie about a man raised in an orphanage who decides to see the world is very well done. I haven't read the book, but the movie was a very good period piece. The cast is amazing and the oscar nomination was well-deserved. I'm glad I got to see The Cider House Rules before the awards, so that I can have a well-formed opionion about who deserves to win. It doesn't have my personal vote for best picture, but I believe it deserved the nomination.
Be prepared for ups and downs in this movie, but it's well worth seeing.
