Dinner for Schmucks (2010)

Cast: Steve Carell (Barry), Paul Rudd (Tim), Zach Galifianakis (Therman)
For complete info, see IMDb's Dinner for Schmucks page.

I'm a fan of Steve Carell (except in The Office, for some reason) and Paul Rudd, so I was pretty sure I'd like Dinner for Schmucks. They didn't disappoint me. I laughed a lot and was entertained throughout the very silly movie. If you like comedies (especially those with Steve Carell & Paul Rudd), I highly recommend seeing Dinner for Schmucks. It doesn't need to be seen in a theatre, since there are no special effects and it'll lose nothing on the small screen, but at least add it to your rental list.

Get Smart (2008)

Cast: Steve Carell (Maxwell Smart/Agent 86), Anne Hathaway (Agent 99), Dwayne Johnson (Agent 23), Alan Arkin (The Chief)
For complete info, see IMDb's Get Smart page.

I loved the TV show, so I was a little wary about the Get Smart movie. The fact that The Pink Panther was so horribly done made me even more cautious. I didn't get around to seeing Get Smart in a theatre, but it worked out really well. I got to watch it with my dad (who had introduced me to the Get Smart TV show). Both of us really enjoyed the movie. They did a very good job bringing this movie to the big screen. They kept the all the quirky aspects of Get Smart that I loved and I appreciate that. Steve Carell did a great job as Maxwell Smart - the whole cast was well chosen.

The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005)

Cast: Steve Carell (Andy Stitzer), Catherine Keener (Trish), Paul Rudd (David)
For complete info, see IMDb's The 40 Year Old Virgin page.

If a movie has Steve Carell or Paul Rudd in it, I'm there. The premise for this movie was so funny that I had to go. Fortunately, The 40 Year Old Virgin did not let us down. All the funny parts weren't in the preview. There are so many hilarious things that happen in this movie.

Definitely see this for a good laugh!

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004)

Cast: Will Ferrell (Ron Burgundy), Christina Applegate (Veronica Corningstone), Paul Rudd (Brian Fantana), Steve Carell (Brick Tamland)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy page.

I'm glad we got to see this in a free preview, since it's always more fun to see a movie before you see too many previews for it. As big fans of almost everyone in this cast, we were excited about seeing Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. The fact that it was based in San Diego made it even more entertaining.

I highly recommend this movie. It's hilarious!
