The Missing (2003)

Cast: Tommy Lee Jones (Samuel Jones a.k.a Chaa-duu-ba-its-iidan), Cate Blanchett (Maggie Gilkeson), Evan Rachel Wood (Lilly Gilkeson), Jenna Boyd (Dot Gilkeson)
For complete info, see IMDb's The Missing page.
A woman and her estranged father search for her kidnapped daughter. The cast of The Missing is amazing. Evan Rachel Wood was particularly wonderful. The only issue I had with the story is that it was a little too slow in many parts. I found myself wondering when it would get to the next part of the story due to the dead time, which was unfortunatel.
Worth renting, but not as spectacular as the cast would indicate.

Men in Black II (2002)

Cast: Will Smith (Agent Jay), Tommy Lee Jones (Kevin Brown, Agent Kay), Rosario Dawson (Laura Vasquez)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's Men in Black II page.
I enjoyed this as much as the first Men in Black movie. Another wonderful Will Smith 4th of July weekend movie! Lots of action, aliens, and fun. Nothing serious, but if you want a fun holiday weekend flick, this is the movie for you.

Men in Black (1997)

Cast: Tommy Lee Jones (Agent K (Kay)), Will Smith (James Edwards/Agent J (Jay)/"Slick"), Linda Fiorentino (Dr. Laurel Weaver/Agent L (Elle))
For complete cast info, see IMDb's Men in Black page.
Such a fun summer movie! As long as you go into this knowing that it's just going to be a fun (and funny) movie, I think you'll enjoy it. Men in Black is witty and hilarious. Will Smith has always managed to make me laugh, and this alien adventure, which tells you the tabloids print the real truth on our planet is hilarious.

Batman Forever (1995)

Cast: Val Kilmer (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Tommy Lee Jones (Two-Face/Harvey Dent), Jim Carrey (Riddler/Edward Nygma), Nicole Kidman (Dr. Chase Meridian), Chris O'Donnell (Robin/Dick Grayson), Michael Gough (Alfred Pennyworth)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's Batman Forever page.
I loved Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne, but I thought there could have been someone better for Batman himself. In spite of my disappointment in Batman Forever, I do think that Val Kilmer was a better Batman. The down side of the new lead is that he didn't make a very convincing Bruce Wayne.
How is it possible for such an amazing cast to make such a horrible Batman movie? I think the casting was the main thing Joel Schumacher did wrong (other than not leaving it as dark as Tim Burton's Gotham). I'm not saying that he didn't pick an amazing cast, but just that there were too many of them. He introduced too many villains at once and brought Robin (never a character I liked) into the picture, too. I don't think a single movie can handle all of that and still have a coherent story. So, there wasn't really much of a story...
Here's hoping that Tim Burton gets the reigns back for the next movie!

The Client (1994)

Cast: Susan Sarandon (Regina "Reggie" Love), Tommy Lee Jones ('Reverend' Roy Foltrigg), Mary-Louise Parker (Diane Sway), Anthony LaPaglia (Barry 'The Blade' Muldano)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's The Client page.
Having really enjoyed the first two films made based on John Grisham novels (The Firm & The Pelican Brief), I had high hopes for The Client. That was my first mistake. If you haven't read the book, I'd recommend The Client. If you have, I'd say you're better off re-reading it than you are renting the movie.
The book is wonderful and the cast is great, but the story got too mangled to recognize it as the book I enjoyed so much.

The Fugitive (1993)

Cast: Harrison Ford (Dr. Richard Kimble), Tommy Lee Jones (Marshal Samuel Gerard), Sela Ward (Helen Kimble), Julianne Moore (Dr. Anne Eastman)
For complete info, see IMDb's The Fugitive page.
The opening scene alone is worth the price of admission for The Fugitive. If you somehow managed to miss this in theatres, it's a must-rent movie. The cast is amazing. The story of a man who was framed for his wife's murder and has to become a fugitive in order to prove his own innocence is wonderful! This is one of the best thrillers of its time!
