It's Complicated (2009)

Cast: Meryl Streep (Jane), Steve Martin (Adam), Alec Baldwin (Jake)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's It's Complicated page.
I really enjoyed this movie. It was definitely not one that needed to be seen on a big screen, since it's story driven and doesn't have any special effects, but now that it's out on Blu-ray & DVD, I highly recommend renting It's Complicated.
The cast is great and the story is entertaining. When you're looking for a good romantic comedy, what else do you need?

Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005)

Cast: Steve Martin (Tom Baker), Bonnie Hunt (Kate Baker), Eugene Levy (Jimmy Murtaugh), Hilary Duff (Lorraine Baker), Piper Perabo (Nora Baker-McNulty)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's Cheaper by the Dozen 2 page.
If a friend hadn't recommended this one, I doubt I would have rented it. The first movie was okay, but I generally assume that the sequels will be worse, and since the first one didn't impress me too much (in spite of the cast), I wouldn't have bothered with this one.
Cheaper by the Dozen 2 was very entertaining. I think I enjoyed it more than I did the first movie. The entire cast is back, though Tom Welling is barely in this movie, which was great to see. The story is cute and the addition of Eugene Levy as Tom Baker's competition when the family visits the lake was wonderful! Any time you add Eugene Levy to a cast, you've improved it, in my opinion. I definitely recommend taking the time to rent this if you missed it in theatres, too.

The Pink Panther (2006)

Cast: Steve Martin (Insp. Jacques Clouseau), Kevin Kline (Chief Insp. Dreyfus), Beyonce Knowles (Xania), Jean Reno (Gendarme Gilbert Ponton)
For complete cast info, see IMDb's The Pink Panther page.
I knew the reviews for this version of The Pink Panther were horrible, but with Steve Martin and Kevin Kline, I wondered how bad it could really be. Perhaps I shouldn't have... I love Steve Martin, but this wasn't even close to his normal standard. The same thing goes for Kevin Kline. Definitely disappointing. If you want to relive the days of The Pink Panther, rent the original. It's still funny. Stay away from this one.

Shopgirl (2005)

Cast: Steve Martin (Ray Porter), Claire Daines (Mirabelle Buttersfield), Jason Schwartzman (Jeremy Kraft)
For complete info, see IMDb's Shopgirl page.
I was finally getting around to reading this Steve Martin novela when I heard about the movie coming out soon. The timing was pretty good. Not surprisingly, the book goes into a bit more depth about the characters, etc. However, I think they did a great job putting Shopgirl on the big screen! I'm sure a LOT of that has to do with the fact that Steve Martin wrote the book and the screenplay and starred in the movie. Definitely helps to have the author that involved in the project. It really showed in the final film.
I think Shopgirl is a very interesting story and definitely worth renting! You won't miss anything by seeing it on a smaller screen, so check it out.

With a cast including Steve Martin, Qeen Latifah, and Eugene Levy, it was no surprise that I laughed a lot during Bringing Down the House. This movie is very funny and enjoyable to watch. Rent it and enjoy. It's a great light popcorn flick!

It was nice to see some of the refreshed scenes from the original and the new work. Fantasia 2000 was simply a beautiful movie. The animation is gorgeous. Seeing this so much larger than life was really wonderful. The art is fabulous and I highly recommend seeing it!

Cast: Steve Martin (George Banks), Diane Keaton (Nina Banks), Martin Short (Franck Eggelhoffer), Kimberly Williams (Annie Banks-MacKenzie), George Newbern (Bryan MacKenzie)
For complete info, see IMDb's Father of the Bride Part II page.
Definitely not as good as the first one, but that's to be expected of a sequel. I thought this movie with babies being brought into the world was cute. Definitely worth renting, though probably not worth much more than that.
Steve Martin plays the nervous father perfectly again.
