Himself and Nora, World Premiere, Old Globe Theatre - San Diego (2005)
Cast: Matt Bogart (James Joyce), Kate Shindle (Nora), Frank Mastrone (Man #1), David Edwards (Man #2), Kathy Santen (Woman)

Himself and Nora was a nice show. I'm sure with some work it could be wonderful. The music is very good and the cast was great. I bought the CD, which says something. Of course, it was never a CD that I always had with me (like Wicked, Rent, The Last 5 Years, and others were over the years), but it has some very catchy songs.

It's definitely still a work in progress, but if you like Irish music, I recommend it if/when the show comes around. It's always hard to say with new shows.

Grade: C+
