Big River, Deaf West Theatre Production's revival tour, Ahmanson Theatre - LA (2005)

Cast: Daniel Jenkins (Mark Twain & Voice of Huckleberry Finn), Tyrone Giordano (Huckleberry Finn), many other talented cast members

I was very happy that much of the original Broadway cast started off the tour for Big River in LA. Deaf West Theatre did an amazing job with this production. I had heard so much about this revival of Big River and really wanted to see it for myself. The way this revival incorporated sign language into the entire musical and used deaf and hearing cast members side by side was truly original and amazing. The show was very well done. I don't know how long it will tour, but this version is definitely worth seeing, even if you're not a big fan of the original Big River musical.
