Hercules (1997)

Another cute Disney storey, with a hilarious villain! Danny DeVito should NEVER be allowed to sing in a movie, but other than that, I really enjoyed Hercules.

The muses are wonderful narrators and it's nice to see another heroine who isn't looking for a man to save her all the time, but who actually tries to be her own woman. Sure, it has the typical happy Disney ending, but it's a kids movie - what do you expect?

Very good music and wonderful voice talents really help this movie on its way to becoming a Disney classic that the whole family can enjoy.

Grade: B+
