Of course, I was very disappointed to miss Sutton Foster in Thoroughly Modern Millie, but her understudy (Susan Haefner) did an amazing job. I don't think that it could have been performed much better. The entire cast was wonderful. I had never seen the movie, so I didn't know much about the story and Thoroughly Modern Millie is a story about not judging people by appearances. The music is really good, the costumes, sets, and choreography are well done, and the cast is great. What more can you ask for in a show?
Thoroughly Modern Millie is a show in the style of old school Broadway. Very happy and upbeat and a lot of fun.
